The immediate neighborhood is rather quiet as it is a residential area. However, when you move around the area, you realize what a lively district you are actually in. There are many restaurants, bars and clubs within walking distance. There are also many flea markets and small parks and squares in the immediate vicinity.
First things first:
You’re in one of the city’s most hip neighborhoods. The absolute highlights in regards to food, which are all within walking distance within a few minutes, are:
Brammibals
1990 vegan living
Il Ritrivo
Ramen x Ramen
Das Speisehaus
Make sure you book well in advance as seats are hot.
A little party never killed nobody:
Towards Schlesisches Tor and Warschauer Straße you are directly in the center of Berlin’s nightlife. There are many clubs and bars (RAW-Gelände, Berghain, About Blank, Wilde Renate, Süß war gestern, Watergate, Suicide Club, Haubentaucher, Birgit und Bier, Musik und Frieden, Club der Visionäre etc.) as well as cultural events. The East Side Gallery with the Berlin Wall is also located on Warschauer Straße.
Move around town:
To get from A to B quickly, you can of course super with public transport, such as subway, S-Bahn, streetcar and bus. These drive on weekends around the clock. I recommend a multi-day ticket instead of single trips, should you be on the road a lot.
The best comes at the end: All rooms of the accommodation were equipped with paintings by Vessela Grigorieva, a Berlin artist with Bulgarian roots. All paintings are available as postcards and posters and can be a nice souvenir of your Berlin trip. Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more.
Hope you are having a great time !
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house and has windows facing the street as well as the backyard. The street has little traffic and is rather quiet, however the windows are frosted and you have the chance to close curtains or a blind for more privacy.
You are very close to the action, as far as the culinary offer and nightlife is related.
